Solar Tower       +

The solar tower was built by DUB OPTIKA( a company situated in Varese) and it is a siderostat (it is made up of  reflecting mirrors, that have a 250  millimetres  diametre on an equatorial installation fork) in a 2 metres diametre cupola. The main lens is an apochromatic 120 millimetres diametre f/16.5 lens that projects the bean (divided in 4 focus by a prism) on an optical bench made of granite to have:

- solar spectrum with a reflection reticule (dimensions: 40 x 40 with 600 lines/mm).

- recording, with CCD cameras HISIS43E equiped by a kodak chip kaf1601E and minitron telecamera about the photosphere and about active prominence.

- halfa filter with variable opening from 3 to 0,5 amstrong.

- projection about solar disk on a 1,20 metres diametre screen.
